Summary: 

This project is focused on the development
of new polymers and complex polymeric
systems with enhanced surface activity.
It is proposed: 1) Modification of surfaces
to obtain enhanced antifouling properties.
2) Development of fluorescent films that could act as sensors for the detection of
hazardous chemicals in the environment.
3)synthesis and study of self-assembled
amphiphilic copolymers in solution for water
bioremediation. 4) Polymeric multycomplex
systems with specific additives for the
preparation of bionanocomposites. 5)
Study of the biodegradation produced
by microorganisms of both the new
biodegradable polymers and highly
degraded systems originated in other
studies (e.g. agricultural fims).
