Summary: 

The present research objectives are threefold:
(1) the analysis of the nucleating
efficiency of IF-WS2 and/or IF-(INTWS2
on the crystallization behaviour of
environmentally-friendly polymers (i.e.
PHB, PLLA, and their PHB/PLLA blends),
(2) the manipulation of the crystal modifications of PLLA by use of crystalline/
crystalline polymer blending, and (3) the
study of the thermodynamic and kinetic
factors affecting the formation of the
crystalline polymorphs.
