Summary: 

The general objective of this Project is,
firstly, the preparation, characterization
and evaluation of the final properties of
materials based mainly on polycycloolefins
synthesized with metallocene catalysts,
aiming to design new polymeric materials
with specific properties for different
industrial applications. On the other hand,
nanocomposites with different types of
nanofillers (sílice nanoparticles obtained by
the sol-gel method and carbon nanotubes)
will be prepared, analyzing the influence
of the nanofillers on the final properties.
