Among other research areas, Inspiralia conducts state of the art research and product development in the fast evolving areas of responsive polymers, functional coatings, applied advanced oxidation processes, material composites, regenerative medicine and monitoring/diagnostic devices. The Market Unit of Health and Wellbeing is currently looking for an enthusiastic research scientist to join its team of Cantoblanco, campus Autonoma, Madrid.

Education

For this position, an MSc or PhD in Material Engineering, Organic Chemistry or related field with special attention to conductive inks is required.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have an outstanding academic record, and high productivity exemplified by publications, awards, and honors. The ideal skill set would include minimum 5 years expertise in the formulation of electrically conductive inks; more particularly conductive inks for screen printed and ink jet technologies, and in the field of electrochemistry.

The applicant should be self-starter, team player and demonstrate a strong autonomy at work. The candidate will also some organization and communication skills. A high level of English (written, oral) is compulsory for the position hereby advertised.

Job Duties

Research and development position involving composites preparation and electrically conductive inks formulation. This is a research lab position which supports a broad array of technologies and businesses throughout Inspiralia. The current position will support projects related to wood plastic composites, inorganics encapsulating capsules and electrically conducting inks. Other topics in the group include chemical ceramics, electrical composites, electrochemical devices, medical devices and medicinal products.
