The objective of the associated unit will be to open up possibilities for developing ambitious multidisciplinary projects. The focus of the unit will be the development of bioinks for 3D bioprinting projects. The aim is to conduct multidisciplinary research that includes the fields of polymer chemistry, materials engineering, biocompatibility, and computational models (synthetic biology).

These objectives will be achieved through the following tools:

• Shared use of materials and laboratories and networks
• Exchange of students for the completion of Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral theses.
• Teaching classes and/or seminars.
• Applying for and collaborating on European projects
